Hi, We’re Angela Ward & Stephanie Van Hope—We Believe Nursing is Sacred Work.

That’s why we founded the Holistic Psychedelic Nurse Collective (HPNC)—a space for nurses to reclaim the soul, integrity, and intention of their practice through holistic and psychedelic-informed care.

Seeing nurses reconnect with their purpose, feel inspired by their work, and step into their roles as true healers fuels our mission. But this path wasn’t always clear to us.

How It Started

Angela and Stephanie met speaking at a psychedelic conference and realized we are both nurse coaches with deep psychedelic experience - Angela as a private practice psychedelic nurse coach and Stephanie as a psychedelic research guide and educator - who saw the potential for holistic nursing and nurse coaching to create a psychedelic care model for registered nurses.

We saw the deficit of nursing education and care models in psychedelics and how a holistic nursing foundation could support the development of a Holistic Psychedelic Nursing specialty.

We saw how intention, presence, connection with nature, and deeper healing modalities could bring back what nursing was always meant to be—a sacred calling.

We dedicated ourselves to creating a platform for psychedelic nursing self-development, education, and community support which has become the Holistic Psychedelic Nurse Collective.

What is the Holistic Psychedelic Nurses Collective?

The Holistic Psychedelic Nurses Collective was founded by nurse coaches Angela Ward and Stephanie Van Hope. We believe holistic nursing is key to shaping the future of psychedelic care—centering on the whole person, the human spirit, and root causes of wellbeing.

Our signature course, Return to Roots, is a self-development journey for nurses inspired by psychedelics. It weaves together nursing, spirituality, ethics, indigenous wisdom, and nature in a co-creative, experiential learning space. It reconnects nurses to ancestral healing, the power of presence-centered care, and their role in the evolving field of psychedelics.

We believe RNs, with the right training in psychedelic care and nurse coaching, are well-equipped to support preparation, journey, and integration. Return to Roots will be the foundation for our upcoming certification program in psychedelic nurse coaching.

We're also building community-based offerings to grow this movement—because the future of holistic psychedelic nursing is collective. We invite you to be part of it.

Nursing is more than a profession—it is a sacred path of service. At the Holistic Psychedelic Nurse Collective, we honor this calling and support those ready to walk it with courage, wisdom, and reverence.

Mission & Vision

Mission Statement

The Holistic Psychedelic Nurse Collective exists to restore the soul of nursing by weaving together holistic healing, psychedelic-informed care, and traditional wisdom. We are committed to educating, mentoring, and building a community of nurses who honor the sacred relationship between nature, healing, and consciousness exploration.

Rooted in nursing, plant medicine, and indigenous and traditional ways of knowing, we empower nurses to:

âś” Integrate psychedelic care with ethics, science, and spirit
âś” Honor the wisdom of nature and ancestral healing practices
âś” Lead the way in a new paradigm of healthcare that values wholeness

Through our offerings, we help nurses cultivate deep presence, energetic integrity, and a reverence for the healing power of plants, fungi, and expanded states of awareness.

Vision Statement

We envision a world where nurses serve as wisdom keepers, bridging modern healthcare with ancient and emerging healing traditions.

Through our work, we seek to:
🌱 Restore the connection between nursing, nature, and psychedelic medicine
🌎 Uphold indigenous and traditional knowledge with deep respect and reciprocity
